The New Millennium International Chamber Music Festival and Academy presents itself to the public in 2025 with a new name and a new brand. The result of the name change is a unique mosaic word - MiraTone - which includes the first name of the festival's founder, American-Hungarian violinist Miranda Liu.

Our world-class guest artists are not just coming to Budapest to perform: they will also be holding masterclasses as part of the MiraTone Academy, which runs concurrently with the festival. The students, coming from over 10 countries, will showcase their talents in a series of concerts for the festival audience. We eagerly anticipate this year's MiraTone Young Artists Series, which promises to be particularly enjoyable, featuring a selection of masterpieces from various stylistic periods. The program will include a range of instruments featured in the festival, including the string quartet instruments (violin, viola, and cello), as well as the flute, clarinet, and piano, presented in both solo and chamber music performances.

The final program will be a surprise, as the participants will develop it during the masterclasses. However, the talent of our applicants and their intensive week of preparation promise a truly high-quality performance.
