Misi Boros

Mihály Boros was born on 11 April 2003 in Pécs. At the age of four, he and his brother received a piano for Christmas, pressed the first keys and since then he spends most of his time at the piano. From the age of six, he has been a student at the Liszt Ferenc Music School in Pécs, where his teacher is Ildikó Megyimóreczné Schmidt.
As a child, he won all the national and international piano competitions for her age group in which he competed, including the Béla Bartók Music School Piano Competition in Budapest, the Nyíregyháza Piano Competition, and competitions in Rome, Paris and Milan. In total he has won eleven first prizes. In the first season of the Hungarian Television Virtuosi classical music competition, he won first prize in the age group for children. He graduated from the Pécs Secondary School of Arts at the age of seventeen. He is currently a fourth-year student at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. One of his recordings on youtube has been viewed by more than 300,000 people. He has released three solo CDs, most recently Inspirations on Hungaroton.
He has given over three hundred concerts, solo or with classical orchestras, with twenty-two conductors, in cities including Budapest, New York, Ottawa, Tokyo, Osaka, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Vienna, Munich, Paris, Chateauroux, Moulins, Aix-en-Provence, London, Milan, Rome, Zurich, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Zagreb, and many more. His repertoire includes works by composers such as J. S. Bach, D. Scarlatti, J. Haydn, W. A. Mozart, L. v. Beethoven, F. Schubert, F. Liszt, F. Chopin, R. Schumann, J. Brahms, P. I. Tchaikovsky, E.
